Diploma Modules

PRL 100: Introduction to Law

In this class, the student will grasp the basics of law, and what it all entails.  The schools of thought are discussed as well as reasoning and case law with many other unique topics to bring this subject to life.  All of which are important in order to legally help those who are in need.  One is required to pass the exam upon reviewing the material with an 80% or higher in order to move on to the next course.

PRL 101: Bankruptcy

In this class, the student will learn the process and discharge of Bankruptcy, Chapter 7, Chapter 9, Chapter 11, Chapter 12, Chapter 13, Chapter 15, SCRA and SIPA.  One will grasp how all of these different forms of Bankruptcy occur within the United States, background, and how they work.  All are required to pass the exam upon reviewing the material with an 80% or higher in order to move on to the next course.

PRL 102: Civil Rights

In this class, the student will grasp the basic concepts of what entails civil rights, where they came from, and civil rights vs. civil liberties.  As a result, he or she will understand the important role it has in our society, and how everything has evolved with this notion from the past to the present.  All are required to pass the exam upon reviewing the material with an 80% or higher in order to move on to the next course.

PRL 103: Contracts

In this class, the student will grasp the basics of contracts.  By understanding the legality of these documents, one will use them wisely in a business setting.  All are required to pass the exam upon reviewing the material with an 80% or higher in order to move on to the next course.

PRL 104: Criminal Law

In this class, the student will grasp the basics of criminal law.  With learning the various levels of criminal behavior in which a Judge uses in a variety of cases, he or she is able to decide for themselves what punishment could become of the individual before it goes to court.  All are required to pass the exam upon reviewing the material with an 80% or higher in order to move on to the next course.

PRL 105: Ethics

In this class, the student why ethics are important in the legal field, especially when one has to deal with the public and a variety of cases.  All are required to pass the exam upon reviewing the material with an 80% or higher in order to move on to the next course.

PRL 106: Family Law

In this class, the student will grasp the basics of family law.  He or she will understand the importance of parental rights and obligations within society itself.  All are required to pass the exam upon reviewing the material with an 80% or higher in order to move on to the next course.

PRL 107: Intellectual Property

In this class, the student will grasp the basics of intellectual property.  He or she will understand the importance of this topic because even employers steal this from those who put all the hard work into it by claiming it as their own, which is morally and ethically wrong; hence, this is a serious issue for one to consider in a post-modern society  All are required to pass the exam upon reviewing the material with an 80% or higher in order to move on to the next course.

PRL 108: Legal Writing and Research

In this class, the student will grasp the basics of writing & research from a legal perspective.  He or she will understand the importance of doing this thoroughly in order to meet future clients needs.  All are required to pass the exam upon reviewing the material with an 80% or higher in order to move on to the next course.

PRL 109: Medical Abbreviations

In this class, the student will grasp common medical abbreviations.  This will help him or her when dealing with medical cases.  All are required to pass the exam upon reviewing the material with an 80% or higher in order to move on to the next course.

PRL 110: Paralegal Tasks

In this class, the student will grasp all of the various paralegal duties that entail one's future job description.  All are required to pass the exam upon reviewing the material with an 80% or higher in order to move on to the next course.

PRL 111: Partnerships & Corporations

In this class, the student will grasp the basics of partnerships and corporations.  All are required to pass the exam upon reviewing the material with an 80% or higher in order to move on to the next course.

PRL 112: Real Property

In this class, the student will grasp the basics of partnerships and corporations.  All are required to pass the exam upon reviewing the material with an 80% or higher in order to move on to the next course.

PRL 113: Torts and Injury Law

In this class, the student will grasp the basics of torts and injury law.  All are required to pass the exam upon reviewing the material with an 80% or higher in order to move on to the next course.

PRL 114: Wills, Trusts and Estates Descriptions

In this class, the student will grasp the basics of wills, trusts and estates.  All are required to pass the exam upon reviewing the material with an 80% or higher in order to move on to the next course.
